Location: Weavers Centre
After the previous meeting I had on the 12th March 2015 it was apparent that the client wished for a poem written by their service users to be included in the video. Following on from the meeting we also had on this shoot date we decided to film/record a couple of people reading out the poems as it will allow us to try different edits and help us determine which method is best. I do feel the shoot went well however due to the nature of the building we did struggle to avoid other distracting noises such as footsteps, doors and cars. However with patience I did eventually get the shots I wanted and I feel they sounded perfect for the video.
Prior to the filming myself and the client also had
another meeting in which we discussed the quotes we liked from the transcripts,
provided in the last meeting, and thought would work well in the video.
Overall this meeting was incredibly useful as it has
put the production a massive step forward and means filming shall end on Friday
20th of March. This is good as I can have the edits finished before
the Easter holidays so then we can focus on sound and have the video done
before the end of the Easter holidays.
