First Shoot Evaluation

Shoot Date: 7th March 2015

Location: Norwich City Centre

Overall I feel this shoot went really well as I have collected the shots I needed and there is no need to reshoot anything. I am pleased with my location and time choice as the atmosphere surroundings were perfect and what we wanted for the scenes. The scenes we shot are metaphorical representations of how life feels when addicted to drug and alcohol the scenes portray the feeling of life moving fast around the person under the influence of addiction. this is the reason we required a busy time of day as the more people moving through the shot the better the final clip would look after editing.

Unfortunately one member who intended to join us was unable to attend however this did not prove to be a big issue as we still had plenty of member to take part both in front and behind the camera. I did find it a shame that the person could not partake as the client had high hopes of incorporating the volunteers and ex service users into the video/project.

to conclude I am happy with the way the filming went and am pleased with the resulting shots we collected.

  1. Jess,
This is a good summary of your last meeting/shoot.
Your blog is looking good, but seems to have few documents under the 'Planning and Management' tab.
Also do you have any images from shoots (even screengrabs of shots) that you can upload.
Good idea to change the theme to match the clients imagery.
    Barrie.
